Short version: LAB* collects absolutely nothing. Your photos and edits never leave your device — whether you're on iPhone, iPad, or Mac.

Platforms

LAB* is available on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Silicon Macs (M1, M2, M3, M4 and later). This privacy policy applies equally to all platforms. The same principle holds everywhere: no data leaves your device.

What We Collect

Nothing. LAB* does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, photos, usage information, crash reports, analytics, or any other information of any kind — on any platform.

Your Photos

• LAB* accesses your Photos library only when you choose a photo to edit.
• Your photos are processed entirely on your device using Apple's built-in Core Image framework.
• Photos are never uploaded to any server — there are no servers.
• Edited copies are saved as new photos. Originals are never modified or deleted.
• Files opened from SD cards, USB drives, or cloud storage are read locally and never copied elsewhere.

Permissions We Request

• Photo Library (iPhone & iPad): To let you choose photos to edit and save results back to your library.
• File Access (all platforms): To open RAW files from connected storage, SD cards, and cloud services via the system Files picker.

No other permissions are requested or used. LAB* does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, location, or any other device capability.

Third-Party Services

LAB* uses zero third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising networks, crash reporters, or external services on any platform. There are no third parties involved in any capacity.
